The Metaphysical Singers is a non-auditioned, all-volunteer, men’s choral ensemble, which draws its membership from the BuxMont Adult Choir and the BuxMont congregation. The only requirement to be in the Metaphysical Singers is a love of music.
The purpose of the Metaphysical Singers is manifold. First and foremost, it is to support the music program at BuxMont by providing music selections for services at different times throughout the year. Secondly, we aim to improve the singing abilities of the members as the different selections are rehearsed and performed. Finally, our purpose is to promote friendship and fellowship among the group’s members.
In addition to singing as a group, members of the Metaphysicals sometimes choose to sing as soloists and in duets, trios, and quartets. Some members also arrange and compose songs, which are performed by the Metaphysical Singers. The Metaphysical Singers provides an environment rich in musical opportunity.
We rehearse every other Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and we perform at Sunday services several times a year as well as at BuxMont’s annual concert. For more information, contact Bob Chalmers or email: email@example.com.
