Coodinator: Martin Kaplan.
Visiting ministers Mike Morse and Sea Raven will discuss topics such as preparing with your family, support through the medical profession and other sources and ending life on one’s own terms. Morse, a retired United Church of Christ minister, holds M. Div. degrees from Oberlin College and Vanderbilt University. Sea Raven holds a Doctor of Ministry through the University of Creation Spirituality founded by the Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox and received clinical pastoral education with the Hospice of the Panhandle in West Virginia. Both Morse and Sea Raven have been associated with Hospice of Frederick County, Maryland.
Morse and Sea Raven are visiting courtesy of Final Exit Network, a national non-profit organization that offers education, support, and a compassionate presence for the right to death with dignity. Morse and Sea Raven will be available immediately following the service for additional inquiries, and also will conduct a question and answer session starting at 11:45 am in the Sanctuary. Space has been reserved at the fellowship for anyone wishing to have a private meeting with Morse and Sea Raven after the question and answer session. For further information contact Martin Kaplan.
The service begins at 10:15 a.m.
