Discussion Groups

Adult Discussion Group (ADG)

An eclectic discussion group open to all meets in the library (Fireside Room) on Sundays at 1:00 pm after the last morning service and coffee hour. (When a talk-back session in the sanctuary with the day’s guest speaker is scheduled, the group yields to that talk-back session although the library is still open to those who choose not to participate in the talk-back.)

ADG official motto: “The quickest way to spoil a good discussion is to include someone who actually knows what he or she is talking about.” (Aubrey McWatt)
ADG official song: “You Talk Too Much” (Joe Jones)

“Explorations” is an opportunity for new and long-time Unitarian Universalists to come together and talk about Unitarian Universalism as well as our own lives, beliefs, and spiritual practices. This six-session, small-group-ministry-based program meets once every two weeks at BuxMont. Topics covered include “Unitarian Universalist Principles,” “Our Beliefs,” and more. Quest: Thoughtful Discussion of Our World

This round-table discussion group meets on the third Sunday of each month at 12:30 p.m. We start with a topical issue introduction and short background, followed by questions, answers, and discussion. Click here for more information or email quest@buxmontuu.org.
