BuxMont offers a wide range of educational opportunities and resources for children, youth and adults.
Thoughts from our Director of Religious Education (for Children & Youth).
BuxMont RE offers a safe and creative environment in which children and youth become compassionate, knowledgeable, and involved members of our spiritual community as well as of the world at large. To achieve this, our program provides opportunities for fellowship, free inquiry and expression, ethical and spiritual growth, and service for our communities.
Adult Education and Enrichment coordinates and promotes a variety of adult education programs which encourage the transformational, self-directed learning that lies at the heart of Unitarian Universalism.
Volunteer librarians maintain an extensive library in the Fireside room. All books are catalogued, and members may check them in and out using the card file on the adjacent desk.
The Adult Discussion Group meets in the Library (Fireside Room) on Sundays after the last morning Service and coffee-hour. Quest, a roundtable discussion group, meets monthly and presents topical issues followed by questions, answers and discussion. Explorations convenes several times a year for 6-week sessions exploring Unitarian Universalism and each individual’s thoughts and beliefs.
