About the Artist:
Luke Nugent is 16 years old, and is a junior at Hatboro-Horsham High School. Luke is a member of the Marching Band, and also plays the trumpet in Jazz Band and a small brass band called ”The Lonely Pen Cap”. Luke has been a member of the fellowship since 2001. He began to take interest in photography in 2009, when his photo “Walking Ibis” won First Place in National Geographic’s “Ranger Rick” Photo Contest. Then, in 2012, Luke’s photo “Sunset in Paris” was featured in National Geographic’s “Kids” magazine. He has had two exhibits at Buxmont, raising money for Ministers Discretionary Fund. Most recently, Luke’s photo “Pink” was accepted in a selective juried photography show at Phillips Mill. Luke’s has taken photos from all over the world, including France, England, Costa Rica, the Amazon Jungle, and the Galapagos Islands. Enjoy the gallery!
