BuxMont Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Fall 2013 Exhibit: Greg Adams

Opened: Sunday, September 8, 2013

Ran through: November 16, 2013

About the Artist:

Greg Adams has been an amateur photographer since 2006.  He spends as much time as he can looking at the world though the lens of his camera.  In his “real life” he heads a research laboratory at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia that is focused on developing new treatments for breast and ovarian cancer.  He is fortunate that his job entails a significant amount of travel that often takes him to places where he can exercise his passion for photography.

Two of the photographs in this exhibit won awards at the Phillips Mill Photography Exhibit in New Hope, PA.  “Through the Apple” (first picture below) taken looking up from the inside of the Apple Store in NYC (A very cool glass cube – worth the visit) won the Spenser Saunders Award in 2013 and “Afternoon Rehearsal” (second picture below) received a Patron’s award in 2012.  More of his photos can be seen on his flickr photography web page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregadams/
