The Family Choir
is an informal, fun for all choir. Adults and children alike are welcomed.
Children under 10 must come with an adult. Older children and
youth may join with or without an adult. (Adults
do not have to be accompanied by a child, as long as the adults are
reasonably well behaved.)
No experience or auditions
are required. The Family Choir performs on an irregular basis. Each performance is announced several
weeks to a month ahead of time and anyone wanting to participate need only attend two to three rehearsals.

SCHEDULE:
This year the Family Choir will be exploring our
new songbook, “May This Light Shine,” and learning songs from BuxMont’s
upcoming musical production “The UU Revue.”
Our first rehearsal will be Sunday, September 10, from 11:45 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. The Family Choir focuses on children’s music, but welcomes adults
as well. Family Choir members need to be able to focus for 45 minutes on
singing. Reading words definitely helps, reading music is great, but neither is
required. During our first few rehearsals we’ll be talking about what we want
to do as a choir. So come and help us shape our future!
