Treasurer Job Description 

The Treasurer serves at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees as a non-voting member.  The Treasurer is elected annually and has no term limits.

The Treasurer will:

bulletAct as custodian of all funds and legal financial papers.
bulletMaintain the Fellowship’s financial records and books.
bulletPrepare monthly financial statements.
bulletPay recurring bills and authorized reimbursement requests.
bulletPay employee salaries and maintain payroll records.
bulletMake monthly deposits for employee retirement contributions and insurance payments.
bulletMake monthly deposits of federal and state and quarterly deposits of local withholding taxes.
bulletPay annual Warrington emergency services tax for employees.
bulletPrepare all required federal, state, and local quarterly and annual tax returns and reconciliations.
bulletServe as a member of the Financial Committee.
bulletServe as an advisor to the Endowment Committee.
bulletServe as an advisor to the Board of Trustees and the Congregation with respect to Fellowship funds.
