The Board of Trustees is the governance body of the BuxMont UU Fellowship.

Guided by the Purposes and Principles, the members are charged with determining the policy and procedures which best guide the mission and vision of the congregation keeping in mind the overall health, vitality and fiscal solvency of the organization.

President of the Board of Trustees 

The President of the Board of Trustees is elected by the congregation and serves a one year non-renewable term beginning on July 1 and ending June 30.

The President of the Board of Trustees will:

bulletAssure the viability of the Fellowship and that the provisions of the By-Laws and Policies and Procedures are observed.
bulletEnsure that the Board of Trustees fulfills its collective responsibilities and that its integrity is maintained.
bulletPreside over meetings of the Board of Trustees adhering to the Covenant of Right Relations agreed upon by its members at the first meeting of the year.
bulletBe knowledgeable about the responsibilities of each Trustee and assure that each Trustee fulfills these responsibilities, while providing assistance when needed.
bulletKnow the Chairs, committees, ad hoc groups and staff and to provide leadership and guidance.   S/he will be available to all members and active friends, facilitate communication among all elements of the Fellowship, and direct inquiries and issues to the proper person or group.
bulletCooperate with and assist the Minister, the Director of Religious Education, the Administrator, and the Treasurer as necessary.
bulletRepresent the Fellowship in the wider community.
